“I discovered the Young Talent Academy by chance whilst visiting a friend. I happened to notice an advert and jotted down the number. Turned out it was one of the best decisions I have made for my daughter.
YTA is an inclusive performing arts school for 3 - 21 year old's. For three hours a week they are taught singing, dance and drama. For three hours a week they are nurtured, encouraged, are taught about team work, about channeling skills they didn't know they had and progressing ones they did. This is a place to thrive and grow. And she has.
Not only does she look forward to it every single week but when I pick her up, I can see how happy she is and she wants to tell me and show me what she has learnt. Seeing her practice for the cutest showcases they do is adorable.
She is excited. I am excited.
I wanted her to join somewhere that was a big, loving, creative family and we have. It is worth the short commute. It is worth a long commute.
So if you are looking for an academy for your child, I could not recommend YTA any more. They also have Young Notes Choir who are superb too!"

“My 8 year old daughter has been attending YTA since the start. She absolutely loves going.
Before she started, she was painfully shy. She is small for her age which is something she is very conscious about and it affects her self esteem. She has so far appeared in two performances to parents / public with YTA and the difference in her confidence from the first to the second was unbelievable.
She recently went to a 'record your own song' party and by choice sang a solo verse. This would have been a complete no go before. She is now involving herself more at school in discussions, will talk to people first and her confidence in general has received a massive boost.

For us, it's not just the the dancing, singing and acting training that YTA provides - it's the love and support Regan, Kay and all the other fantastic staff at YTA show our child. By showing that her that other people outside of the family believe in her and what she's capable of, she's finally believing in herself. You can't put a price on that.
