LAMDA EXAMINATIONS
LAMDA Exams are about achievement and empowerment. YTA will be offering training in line with LAMDA examinations. LAMDA framework has been helping learners all over the world to develop into confident speakers since the 1880s.
As qualifications have moved on over the years, LAMDA principles remains the the same. To provide ALL with the opportunity to improve self-expression, self-assurance and, most importantly, have fun.

HOW DOes it WORK?
We employ LAMDA’s mission to improve standards in communication through the spoken word. We also foster an appreciation of literature. We offer our students LAMDA drama to support them with intellectual and social development. LAMDA is world-renowned examining board for examinations in Speech and Drama.
LAMDA EXAMINATIONS
LAMDA exams are accredited by the government and are worth UCAS points, useful for university and college entrance.These grades would be taken by teenage students.

GRADING
LAMDA exams are marked by an independent examiner marked out of a total of 100.
Students can obtain the following grades:
PASS (50-64%)
MERIT (65-79%)
DISTINCTION (80%+)

Parents report a significant improvement in their child's general literacy skills at home and in school.
Increased spoken skill helps with interviews for jobs, courses and work experience. It also helps children feel confident in a social setting and build social bonds.
